Little Heights Preschool Ministry
AHBC Preschool Ministry utilizes a 3 step strategy to help you “ train-up” your child, leading them to know who Jesus is, teaching them about God, how to pray to him and how to praise him.
Using Bible stories, music and play, we teach the children how amazing God is, how much God loves them and how special they are. We use the LifeWay curriculum. Sunday mornings, 9:30 am in the Recreation Bldg. For more information about Lifeway click here.
Teaching our children that they can talk to God and that God talks to them. Helping them understand the concept of praising God and asking Him for His Help. Amen! Wednesday evenings, 6:30 pm in the Recreation Bldg.
Teaching our preschoolers about the wonderful gift of music and how to use it to praise our Lord. The Preschool Choir will perform in our Worship services throughout the year. Sunday evenings, 5:30 pm in the Recreation Bldg.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Safety and security are a top priority at Allen Heights. All of our Preschool workers are background checked. Preschoolers may be dropped off 15 minutes prior to the scheduled service or event their parent is attending. All preschoolers must be dropped off at their class by a parent or guardian with a security tag. All items belonging to the preschooler should be labeled. When picking up a preschooler, only a guardian with the matching security tag will be permitted to pick the child up.
Baby dedication at Allen Heights is an important family event event in which the church body along with a believing parent, parents and/or guardians; commit before God to raise the child in a Godly manner and according to HIS WILL. Through this special dedication, we make a promise to the baby that we will earnestly pray for him/her and the family. We commit as a church to work with parents to lead by example, teaching how to honor and worship God. Our goal is to honor God with this baby's life until he/she chooses to make God the Lord of their lives. For more information or to schedule an appointment contact Interim Pastor, Dr. Jerry Carlisle.
