The Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Allen was established on May 1st, 2011, as a mission church of Ethiopian Evangelical Baptist Church in Garland with the assistance and cooperation of Allen Heights Baptist Church. We were about 20 members when we began meeting at the Allen Heights Baptist Church. Since, then with the Lord’s blessings, we have grown a lot and are continuing to grow.

Our Strategy can be summarized as “fellowship, grow, serve, and go”!
Fellowship:  Before we connect with other believers we connect with God first. This will enable us to have deep and meaningful relationships with each other. Our relationship will invite others to be part of this marvelous unity. As our Lord Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Matthews 13 : 35

Grow:  We believe the word of God is vital instrument for the believer to grow in the knowledge of our God and Jesus Christ. We emphasize on teaching the word of God through small groups to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Serve:  We believe God calls every believer to the good work which he prepared before the foundation of the earth. We train our members to be effective servants of the highest God.
Go:  God has been very clear in His Word that He wants us to go forth and spread the Word. As Christians, part of our duty is to try to reach as many people as possible in sharing the word of God. “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’” (Mark 16:15 NKJV)
